- Resubmitted from BCS-00253207: Right turn only lane and associated signal are creating new safety issues at Tremont and Mass Ave. The southbound bike lane, especially without any physical separation and the overall degradation of markings, puts people at risk from cars turning right. There’s simply not enough room to wait between the curb and the turning cars. (This design is also a violation of the MUTCD’s rules for bike lanes and turn lanes at signalized intersections, opening the city to real liability in the event of a serious or fatal crash.) |
