- We are requesting a traffic safety evaluation at the exit of the Boston Islamic Center located at 5 Brinton Street, Roxbury, MA 02119. Vehicles regularly park on both sides of the street immediately adjacent to our driveway. This severely limits visibility of oncoming traffic and makes it difficult and unsafe for vehicles to safely exit the property, particularly during prayer times and community events when traffic is heavier. We respectfully request that the Boston Transportation Department evaluate this location and consider installing No Parking signs or establishing a No Parking/Tow Zone on both sides of the driveway to improve visibility and public safety. |

Case Noted. It looks like your existing driveway is too big (wall is there on one half) and should have been shortened. You can post your own sign on your wall for vehicles not to block the driveway where the gate is. BTD has discontinued posting signs for driveways. Thank you for contacting 311 and BTD.
