Damaged Sign

Description: Today, July 15, 2026, I parked on L Street between Broadway and E. 4th St. in South Boston. I was parked in front of the Shell gas station. The sign for Wednesday Street Cleaning was nowhere near where I was parked. It was several yards behind me on the other side of an alley and the part that says tow zone was completely faded out and the part that says no parking was mostly faded out and difficult to read at best. The next sign stating this was a tow zone and no parking on Wednesday for street Cleaning was a block further up completely covered by Petula‘s restaurant outdoor umbrella. I was given a $40 ticket and towed which was $177.50. The signage needs to be fixed and I need the City of Of Boston to admit wrongdoing and reimburse me for the towing and dismiss the ticket. I have more photos from different angles showing the sign I parked under made no mention of tow zone and my car was parked appropriately where the black suv in the photo is parked
