- Since construction began at 5 Monument St., our neighborhood has experienced a significant increase in rat activity. Multiple neighboring property owners have had to invest in additional pest control services, trapping, exclusion work, and other rodent prevention measures as rats have migrated and attempted to burrow into surrounding properties. It is our understanding that the construction project did not have an adequate rodent mitigation plan in place before and during excavation. As a result, neighboring homeowners have incurred costs that would likely have been avoided with appropriate preventative measures. We request reimbursement for the expenses we have incurred to mitigate this increase in rodent activity.
