- Needle pick up near stoop. I witnessed the Boston Public Services sweeper sweep a needle from the middle of the sidewalk (yellow circle) to the stoop (red circle). I asked “are you not allowed to pick them up?” (I completely understand if not allowed to) He said “no”. I then said “I’d rather you not touch it at all or sweep it away from the stoop”. Not sure what his thought process was.
