- resubmitting case BCS-00269353: Complaint Regarding Failure to Repair Air Conditioning I am a tenant at Alder at Allston in Boston. 301 Guest St, apt 622, Boston, MA 02134 The central air conditioning in my apartment has been broken for approximately three months. I have submitted multiple maintenance requests and repeatedly contacted the leasing office asking for repairs. Management provided a portable air conditioner, but it does not adequately cool the apartment, especially my bedroom. The bedroom becomes extremely hot, making it very difficult to sleep or comfortably live in the apartment. Despite numerous requests over the past three months, the issue has not been repaired, and I have not been given a clear timeline for when it will be fixed. I am requesting that the City inspect my apartment and determine whether the property is complying with its obligations. I would also appreciate any assistance in requiring management to make the necessary repairs as soon as possible.
