August 05, 2026 To: Customer Technology and Operations / Bus Operations Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) 10 Park Plaza, Suite 3910 Boston, MA 02116 Subject: SECOND NOTICE: Dangerous Dislodged Bus Sign at Columbia Rd & Dudley St / Route 16, 41, 17 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing on behalf of the Uphams Corner community to submit a second, urgent complaint regarding a severe pedestrian hazard and a disruption to transit riders. An MBTA bus sign has been completely dislodged and displaced from its original location. This sign belongs at the bus depot area located on Columbia Road at the intersection of Dudley Street. This specific sign informs the traveling public of services for Bus Routes 16, 41, and 17. Currently, the heavy metal sign has been moved across the street and is sitting directly on the sidewalk at 579 Columbia Road, right in front of Team Rehab and Wellness
