Description
Overgrown Vegetation on Vacant Lot – Sidewalk Obstruction & Pest/Rodent Concerns Description: There is a vacant lot (no structure on the property) where vegetation has been left completely unmaintained. Weeds, brush, and vines have grown extremely dense and tall, and are now overtaking the public sidewalk, making it difficult and unsafe for pedestrians to pass. The overgrowth is also trapping litter and debris. Due to the neglected condition of the lot, the area appears to be attracting rats, rodents, insects, and mosquitoes, creating a public health concern for the surrounding neighborhood. Request: Please inspect the property and require the owner to clear the vegetation, restore sidewalk access, and address the pest/rodent infestation. Code enforcement follow-up requested if the property remains unmaintained.
