- Description
- My son, Bennie, recently graduated from college and move to Boston. Through online call with an agent Drew Milan (Encore Realty 617-686-5909) and shown him the room via a video call in 03/2026 and asked Bennie to sign right away or room will be gone, therefore Bennie signed the contract without seeing the room till 8/31/2026. When arrived, the room is not livable. Kitchen sink is broken, bathroom is in bad shape, and hardwood floor near bathroom became black. Room smell old and damp. It's not a livable condition for a cost of $2100+. I, as a father and co-signed the contract, called landlord and he simply refused to discuss with me and just said let kids learn how to deal with things, and said Bennie can not backoff the contract, unless find someone to take over, and just keeps promising will fix things, but after many days still nothing. How could Boston let this thing happen? The address is 435 Hanover Street #4A. Property name is Zoe Realty Trust a.k.a 435 Hanover LLC. Manger number is 617-820-0433. Owner name is Dror, and phone is 617-909-8869. Not so sure how this agent system works. Agent got paid by owner, so ... agent simply trick people to sign the contract and disappear? I called the agent for help and he simply not pickup the call. What should we do? My name is Yaohung and phone number is 408-666-6889. I will fly to Boston to check the place in person on 09/04/2026. We are willing to just leave the contract and lost this 1st month fee and leave this nightmare. Please help. Not so sure how can this room been fixed while Bennie live inside.
