Description: BCS-00319409: Other Ongoing smoke infiltration into my apartment and the second floor common hallway from a neighboring unit (209) at 839 Beacon Street. This is a smoke-free building under the terms of our lease Cigarette and marijuana smoke regularly enters the second floor hallway and passes into my unit (204) through the entry door and vents. It is occurring today and has occurred repeatedly since at least February 2026. There is an infant living in my unit. I have reported this to the property manager, SBC2 Properties, in writing more than ten times since February 8, 2026. Management confirmed in writing on March 25, 2026 that they had identified the responsible unit, and on April 17, 2026 that the matter was with their attorneys. The condition has not been corrected. No member of building staff has come to the property to verify the condition in response to any of my reports.
