- I am a tenant reporting an ongoing mouse infestation inside my apartment building and am requesting an Inspectional Services housing inspection of my unit and the property. I initially reported the issue to property management after seeing live mice and finding mouse droppings in multiple areas of our apartment. Management sent maintenance to address potential entry points, and professional pest control serviced our unit. Despite these measures, I have found droppings and saw another live mouse inside our apartment. The issue therefore remains active despite treatment. I am concerned that this may not be isolated to our individual unit and that there may be a larger building-level rodent issue or conditions allowing mice to enter and move between units. I am requesting that Boston Inspectional Services inspect the unit and property for rodent activity and any conditions contributing to the continued problem.
