Unsatisfactory Living Conditions

Description: am writing to request an inspection at the following address: 79 Poplar Street I believe that the entire vacant apartment floor directly beneath many occupied units (including mine) in my apartment building may be a severe fire trap. On August 27, spray foam insulation was applied to multiple units as part of a construction project. Tenants were not notified of the installation. It has now been left completely raw, exposed, and open to the air for over a month. I do not believe there is no 15-minute thermal barrier (definitely no drywall installed, & I do not believe there is an approved fire-rated coating) protecting the upper floors from this flammable material, which would violate Massachusetts State Building Code 780 CMR 2603.4 and the State Sanitary Code. Many people are currently living in the units above this hazard. Please dispatch an inspector to review this active code violation.
