Description: Subject: Formal Housing Complaint – Ongoing Mouse Infestation, Deteriorating Carpet, and Unresolved Maintenance Issues I am requesting a housing inspection of my apartment due to an ongoing mouse infestation and unresolved maintenance issues that have continued despite repeated reports to property management. I have lived in this apartment for approximately five years, and the mouse problem has been ongoing for the past two to three years. Pest control has been coming to the apartment approximately every two weeks, and maintenance has made repeated visits. Despite these efforts, the infestation has not been resolved. Mice continue to run freely throughout my apartment. The wall-to-wall carpet is being damaged, and the hole in the carpet continues to get larger. Carpet pieces and fibers are being left throughout the affected area. Despite the repeated pest-control visits, the underlying problem remains unresolved.
