Description: I have noticed significant rat activity around 49 Allston Street in Charlestown for the past several months and it has gotten to the point I don’t even want to walk on our street at night. I live at 48 Allston Street and have noticed multiple rats every single night for the past couple months, where I rarely saw them in all of my five years living here. The picture included is one I just noticed tonight near 49 Allston Street which no one has been living in for years and I believe a lot for the activity has been coming from. I have had my house serviced for rodents and our house area is extremely clean but we are getting collateral damage from the surrounding area. I have noticed rat droppings for the first time ever on my patio and the bait that has been out out gets eaten extremely quickly. No matter what I do to control my surrounding house the problem on our street keeps getting worse.
