- There is a neighborhood stray cat that was involved in a fight some time ago. At first, I only noticed that he was limping, but I did not see any visible wounds. Over the past few days, a bite wound has become visible on his back leg, and it now appears infected with pus. The area looks swollen and painful, and the limping is ongoing. I am concerned this may be an infected bite wound or abscess and that he needs veterinary treatment as soon as possible.
