Description
The dog in unit 455 has been barking at various hours of the day and night. At times, it’s been early in the morning (such as 7:30 AM), late at night (between 9 PM and 1 AM), and also during the day (most recently around 10:45 AM today). The barking tends to be incessant and can be heard clearly from multiple parts of our unit (355), including the bedroom and bathrooms. It often sounds as though the dog is moving between different areas of the unit, which makes the noise travel more throughout our space. We initially chose not to report it, wanting to give it some time to see if there was a consistent pattern or a limited timeframe we could plan around. However, the barking has become increasingly unpredictable and more frequent throughout the day and night. While we understand that occasional noise is a part of apartment living, this has started to impact our ability to sleep and work from home without constant white noise playing at high volume. The dog continues to bark frequently—often for hours at a time—which has made spending time in our home during the day increasingly unpleasant. I’ve also noticed that the barking escalates whenever the shades or curtains are open and the dog can see activity at street level. The noise is loud enough to be heard clearly from the street outside our unit as well. Additionally, it can be inferred that the dog is consistently left alone and isolated to the bathroom for 8 or more hours at a time. Screenshots attached show the first outreach and the time between responses with management. The issue has been going on since July and there has been zero progress or improvement in the situation.
