Resolved. Good afternoon, Thank you for your interest in the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway project. Please be aware that starting tomorrow, 4/2/2026, the site will be closed off to the public between Marginal Street and Porter Street. The contractor, Belko Landscaping, began work last week. They have installed tree protection fencing and erosion controls, while leaving the site open to the public. Tomorrow they will begin demo on the pathways and lighting and removing dead/diseased/invasive trees. The light poles will be salvaged for reuse. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
