Noted. Thank you for your interest in increasing the canopy in the City of Boston. All public street trees in the City of Boston and Massachusetts are protected by state law (MGL CH 87). The tree at this location is still alive at the time of inspection. The BPRD Urban Forestry Division is unable to remove a live and healthy public shade tree for the reason requested.
