- The gravel that the parks dept put in two weeks ago to replace the stump path has created a huge and ever-growing dusty mess. It’s making the neighboring areas of the playground slippery with dust; we watched 4 kids in a row slip and fall at its edges yesterday in the span of 5 minutes. Could the area instead be refilled with wood chips like the rest of the open areas in the playground, or have the original stump path reinstalled? At the very least, can the city please leave a broom in the green shed so that park goers can clean the area up for the kids every so often?
