- The JFK School playground has been broken since the start of this school year. We’re now at the end and it has NOT been fixed. This is appalling and shameful. The message sent to kids at the school is the city does not care. Please fix this. It is unsafe and children have been injured. The playground is over 25 years old and designed for small children. It does not serve our population today. We find needles in the dangerous wood chips - as a parent I am horrified and scared. It is not accessible for our inclusion school. What is taking so long to fix this? Please help us.
