- Hi, I wanted to report repeated long-line dog training at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park in the North End. Boston Parks rules say leashes in parks are permitted up to 8 feet unless in a designated Dog Recreation Space. This is not a designated off-leash space. I am concerned because long lines during training can create safety issues for other dogs, pedestrians, and children using the park. The activity has been happening around 7pm near the garden areas. I’m not looking for confrontation, just asking that park leash rules be enforced consistently.
