- A teacher at our school who was eating a snack with a group of children had a squirrel jump on her hand. Her hand has a big scratch. We are very glad this did not happen to a child. One pass through the Garden and one can see tourist after tourist hand feeding the squirrels. We will no longer eat at the Public Garden. While there are some signs telling people to not feed the squirrels, there likely needs to be more. Can anything else be done?
