- I am reporting a severe, hazardous sanitary code violation in the common hallway of my building. There is a massive accumulation of uncollected trash that has been left in the hallway.This decaying garbage has caused an immediate, extreme pest infestation. The hallway is currently filled with thousands of flies, and there is active rat and cockroach activity feeding on the trash.This situation poses an immediate biological and health risk to all residents in the building. Property management was formally notified of this hazard but has failed to remove the trash, sanitize the area, or send an exterminator.Please dispatch an inspector from the Inspectional Services Department (ISD) to evaluate this emergency habitability issue as soon as possible.
