- Hello- I saw overflowing public trash barrels on 6-27-26 on Newbury St, between Arlington and Dartmouth streets. See attached photo of one near 126 Newbury St. There was another barrel piled high with water bottles which could have been recycled, but I didn't see many recycling receptacles. I did see a waste station on Dartmouth near Boylston with one side for trash and the other side with a circular opening for cans and bottles. I think this type of dual station works well because people are unlikely to toss trash into the circular opening compared to a large metal recycling barrel. Thank you.
