- I live in a house on property that adjoins part of the Margarita Muniz Academy, 20 Child St., property. There is a tree on the Muniz Academy property whose branches now nearly touch my house. It's a fine tree, I am glad to have a tree, since so much of the rest of the school property is paved and creates a heat island that negatively affects the area. But I would like the branches that are nearly touching my house to be cut back so they don't (eventually) brush against my house. I'm enclosing photos. The only choice about the location of the tree was city street, city park or private property. The tree is in property owned by the city, occupied by a public school, but there wasn't an option for that.
