- For the past few months there has been a trash truck collecting trash in the alley in Allston on Long Ave between Glenville Ave and Commonwealth Ave. The collection typically starts around 11:30pm on Tuesdays and lasts about 2 hours. The truck is idling and creating extremely disruptive noise and leaving trash bins to block the alley and parts of the apartments they come from. The truck is from Pac-Man Disposal. (978) 362-3815 https://pacmandisposal.com/ Please let me know if there is any way to have the trash picked-up at a more reasonable hour when residents are not trying to sleep, or if this can be done any faster. Other garbage and recycling in this alley is picked up in less than 15 minutes in the afternoon.
