Description
Please put a ‘no parking’ sign or cone up in the spot where the black car is parked, outside 125 F st. I parked in this spot early this morning before the National Grid construction arrived. There was NO parking restriction sign in this spot, only the signs on the other side of the street. BPD was banging on my car asking me to move because my car was “dangerously close” to the construction site, and the BPD officer was directing traffic, allowing cars to pass through F st in between the construction and my car, and down Silver (from Dorchester st). I was told my car could easily have gotten hit, which was why they were asking me to move. The National Grid workers told me that a ‘no parking’ sign should have been in my spot. This was extremely disruptive to not only the workers and police detail, but also to me as I had to leave work in the middle of the day to move my vehicle. If there is no sign up, there should be no parking issue. This should not have been my issue as there was no sign. Please mark construction sites appropriately .
