- I'd like to know if the MA DEP is monitoring the asbestos abatement at 22 Tremont St in Charlestown. The site is covered in tarps and the adjacent house windows and doors are taped and sealed like a Superfund site! This appears to be a very serious hazardous situation. In addition, the workers on the site stole a ladder my HVAC guy had left over night for use today. Luckily, he saw it and informed the workers it was his. They shrugged it off as if the ladder was free! There are young children in the area and with summer here, they play outside. Are they being exposed?
