Description: I am exhausted from repeatedly reporting loud parties at 198 Poplar St, Roslindale #2. .This is a residential neighborhood, yet there are frequent late-night parties with loud music and excessive noise that continue well past 11:00 p.m. I have contacted the police multiple times, but the problem continues and there has been no lasting resolution. The ongoing noise is disrupting the peace of the neighborhood and preventing nearby residents from sleeping. I am requesting that the City of Boston investigate this property and take appropriate enforcement action. If this property is being used as a short-term rental, I also ask that its compliance with Boston’s short-term rental regulations be reviewed. Residents should not have to repeatedly report the same issue without any meaningful action being taken. Please let me know what additional steps the City will take to address this ongoing problem.
