- I would like to respond to the previous report that was made for the basketball hoop in my street. FYI I am not the owner of the basketball hoop but a homeowner that lives on the street. First of all the hoop was not blocking the sidewalk but unfortunately people can not tell the difference between the street and the sidewalk. I feel highly disappointed because all residents in our street enjoyed when kids were utilizing the basketball hoop and were engaging in outdoor activities rather than being unsafe in the "streets". City of Boston needs to investigate further the reports that are made by insane individuals rather than acting immediately on removing the hoop. They took away the joyful moments from the neighborhood kids. If people are bothered by the basketball hoops and kids having fun they can choose a different street to walk on. Thanks to both parties you did an amazing job WELL DONE!!!!!!!
