- I am requesting a Traffic Engineering evaluation for the area adjacent to my driveway at the intersection of River Street and Metropolitan Avenue in Hyde Park. Large vehicles regularly park near my driveway, blocking visibility when exiting. Drivers must pull into the roadway before they can safely see oncoming traffic, creating a serious safety hazard. This intersection already has “No Turn on Red” signs due to frequent motor vehicle accidents. I am requesting that the City evaluate whether a “No Parking Here to Corner” zone or other parking restrictions are needed to improve visibility and safety.
