- This section of sidewalk on 1st Avenue has been covered with scaffolding for quite some time. The scaffolding blocks the street lights from reaching the sidewalk, making the walkway extremely dark. It is very difficult to ensure safe footing to avoid tree roots and heaved concrete. There should be temporary lighting beneath the scaffolding boards. Also, it is filthy underneath there. Leaves have not been cleaned out in over a year.
