Description: Sidewalk repair at Woodlawn Street and Hyde Park Ave has no alternative pedestrian/wheelchair access. There is no crosswalk to the other side of Hyde Park Ave at this intersection so pedestrians are forced to walk into traffic to passing traffic when approaching from the south (no crosswalk available at Weld Hill Street either). No police detail on duty either to stop traffic when pedestrians need to pass. This is a very dangerous, high speed stretch of road where pedestrians have already been killed in recent years.
