Description
Complaint about sidewalk project at Union Park Street and Harrison Ave. The sidewalk has been ripped up for a week now. Many local residents cannot get around due to being in electric scooters/ wheelchairs. There is a rubber ramp that has been placed at the curb but no one using a cane/ walker / or scooter can use this for access to the street. This means people trying to go out to do daily tasks cannot without much aggravation and re working regular pathways to chores needing to be done. It is also a safety issue as people who are able to manage stepping off the curb are at risk as it is at a very busy intersection with no traffic lights.
