As an Uphams Corner/Dorchester/Boston Community Advocate , I am escalating an ongoing hazard that has not been addressed despite prior community notifications. The original report was submitted on but no visible field action has been taken to make the The Tobec Safe for usage. The current condition is unacceptable and impacts our neighborhood due to:Immediate Safety Hazard: [Explain danger briefly, broken structures/equipment/overgrowth. Youth Impact: Densely populated Bowdoin corridor families rely on this specific space; neglect actively removes play options for children. Equity Delay: Prolonged municipal response delays compromise equitable care for green spaces in Dorchester. Requesting immediate intervention from Boston Parks & Rec leadership to dispatch a field crew to Tobec Park. Please update this ticket with a definitive repair timeline.
