- At Centre and Belgrade on my bike, waited for green when making the turn I nearly collided with a bike that was going straight on Centre. I was angry with him until I realized the city gives the green light to two different streets. I wonder why they think this is safe. It’s like the Poplar street bike lane going up a one way in a different direction from automobile traffic and ending at Washington with no traffic light to signal when the turn onto Washington would be safe and legal Basically it’s a free for all and Wu is just begging for more dead cyclists with her ill considered changes. She is a woman that deals only in theory and completely disregards reality. Senseless academic.
