- The park/Grilling area at franklin park near American Legion highway is in desperate need of renovation, clean up and care! Over the past weekend, my family held a small barbecue there and to my shocking awe the place was so run down and overwrought with trash, glass, hospital garments and decaying park benches/table. My sister and I made an effort to clean as best we could before setting up, but I fear its going to take a team and a duration of time to bring the sparkle and community feeling back to this park. it is unsafe and hazardous in its current state, and the neighbors/citizens of Boston have to bad together this make this place safe for kids, and families again. what you see in the photos provided is just a small glimpse 8n the bigger picture!
