- There are constantly mopeds parked directly in the bike lane on Boylston Street. Here’s a typical example of what I experience on a daily basis biking on Boylston Street. Not only are these motorized vehicles blocking the bike lane. They are often driving in it and even often going the wrong way. Head on collision has so much more force this is really a scary situation. Cars get angry at the moped zipping in and out of lanes and going through red lights and they take it out on all bikes even those pedaled at a safe speed legally in a bike lane.
