Description
Roadway asphalt has failed to the subbase on Palfrey St — gravel exposed, surface unraveling across multiple sections. Failures are centered on utility cuts (gas valve box, water gate box, sewer structure) with temporary concrete patches never permanently restored. Condition has persisted for years and is worsening. A City fire hydrant sits in the failed section. There is no continuous sidewalk, so pedestrians — including wheelchair users — must travel in the roadway. Requesting inspection and full-depth repair, not surface patching.
