Description: There are 2 units in a 2-family home being used as rental property (not owner-occupied) without being registered with the city. One unit is tenant occupied and the other is under construction. Neither unit is registered as a rental property under the current owners who bought the property in October 2025. The units are still registered under their previous owner. This means that any 311 reports related to the properties and any ISD complaints/reports are being attached to the wrong/outdated registration and not being associated with any related permits and construction at the property. I have put in requests for inspections and help from ISD related to these reports/violations and was assured the landlords would be reached out to regarding them, but they never were. The rental properties are 5-7 Prescott Place, Allston, MA 02134.
