Description
Hello! The construction taking place on Harrison Ave (Traveler St) has been horrendous for weeks now. I am the Events Manager at Bar Mezzana and we have four weddings, one is today, and it's an embarrassment that guests have to walk into a space with orange cones and piles of bricks surrounding the entrance area. Photos are attached. We have also spoken to the workers 3 times over the last week plus to let them know about our upcoming wedding events. As a bride myself getting married at a restaurant in a few weeks this would ruin my day. The city should be ashamed of how they treat small businesses, especially restaurants, and consider the impact this has on guests using a space for a special occasion or just walking in! I'm personally asking that this work be swiftly completed this week. We have a wedding on Saturday 9/5 that will be utilizing the patio for a seated dinner and this has significantly impacted our seating chart.
