Description: Copley Saturday Night Aftermath . . . . I walked through Copley Square around 10:15 pm last night. Post movie night perhaps? (Signs on Copley would suggest that was the case.) I live near the BPL. Though I missed the movie night, the post-event scene was very sketchy. There were people passed out all over the sidewalks, throwing popsicles at cars and tourists, running into oncoming traffic, etc. This morning I saw people sleeping on green space out of my window. I did not take photographs because it is not safe to do so at that time of night. Signs posted note that there was a movie night hosted by Mayor Wu. Respectfully request that she reconsider movie nights on Copley. It is an unfair and unnecessary burden to the residents of the area.
