- I am requesting a perimeter fence with a secure gate and a trash can at Weider Park on Dale Street in Roslindale. The playground is completely open, which is a serious safety concern, especially for children with autism who may elope or wander. There are train tracks nearby and known coyote sightings in the area, making a secure fence especially important. A fence would make this playground safer and more accessible for children with disabilities and all neighborhood families. I am also requesting a permanent trash can to help keep the park clean.
