Description
A construction site at a brick townhouse on Joy Street, about mid-block between Beacon Street and Mount Vernon Street, has erected a wooden fence that completely blocks the public sidewalk. I don’t see the exact street address, but it’s close to 4 Joy street. Pedestrians walking up from the Boston Common are forced directly into the street traffic. There is no ADA path, no covered walkway, and no safe detour barriers. I was nearly hit by a car yesterday when trying to cross the street to avoid the construction site.
