Description: I am writing to report a severe, ongoing residential noise nuisance originating from the property at 366 East 8th Street, South Boston. This has been a nonstop issue for over six months now and has yet to be resolved. If anything, it has only gotten worse. Multiple complaints have been submitted from a number of different neighbors in the vicinity. Two dogs (one brown Doberman, one blonde mutt) are left barking relentlessly, creating a severe neighborhood disturbance. The animals bark continuously during the day and deep into legal city quiet hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The barking is often nonstop and occurs for uninterrupted periods lasting hours at a time. The volume of the barking easily exceeds city residential decibel limits and is clearly audible from the street and surrounding properties, disrupting the peace of the immediate neighborhood.
