- Description
- Crossing this intersection in one of the four crosswalks (the one after the bridge crossing the river st to river street connection) is super dangerous. It is too far around the corner for people turning right to see and they are looking over their shoulders for oncoming cars. There are also some trees after the bridge that make it harder to see people. Many people run the stop altogether and BPD seems to try to be there regularly to send a message (thank you). Flashing lights won't help, but a raised cross walk coming over the bridge and one on the part of river Street where you can see the car repair shop. People who drive it regularly would learn to slow down. The one circled in red is where I feel unsafe crossing. The one in yellow is where slowing people down would help give us a better chance getting across without near misses.
