Tree or Stump Removal

Description: The city street tree in front of 101 Fletcher Street, Roslindale, is overgrown and needs pruning and inspection. Its branches are growing into the side of my house and over an upstairs window with an air conditioning unit, and the canopy is heavy over the walkway. The roots are also lifting and cracking the sidewalk slabs next to the tree, creating a serious tripping hazard. I have a toddler, and this is the sidewalk we use every day to walk to and from our home. Uneven slabs with raised edges are very hard to see and step over for a small child, and a fall onto the granite curb could cause a serious injury. I'm asking for the tree to be inspected and pruned as soon as possible, and for the roots to be evaluated, since they are causing ongoing damage to the sidewalk.
