Description: Please route this complaint to Inspectional Services Health Division (ISD Health) regarding a Boston food establishment. Subject: Food Safety Concern – Tony's Place, West Roxbury I am reporting a food-safety concern involving Tony's Place in West Roxbury. A publicly posted photograph appears to show the restaurant's owner inside a Restaurant Depot carrying packaged food products with his pants down. The photo has been seen 600,000 times. This is extremely disturbing and unsanitary conduct involving food products that may be intended for use at his restaurant. Customers should be able to expect that food brought into a licensed restaurant has been transported and handled in a sanitary manner—not carried around while the owner has his pants down. I am asking the Health Division to review this incident and determine whether an investigation or inspection is warranted.
