- I am reporting apparent foundation damage following excavation immediately beside 717 and 717A East 5th Street, Boston, MA 02127. Digging occurred yesterday. A photo shared by another resident shows broken and missing material along the exposed base of the exterior wall, with excavated soil and rubble directly beside the building. We are concerned that the excavation may have damaged the foundation. Please arrange a prompt on-site inspection to assess the damage, determine whether protective measures or repairs are needed, and provide findings and next steps.
