Noted. Private Property - The City of Boston does not maintain trees rooted on private property nor does it have authority over trees on private property. The property owner where the tree is rooted will need to hire their own private tree care company to resolve this issue.

Description
There is a large oak tree in the back yard of 44-46 Ardale Street in Roslindale that has a large horizontal crack in the trunk about 20 feet off the ground. Neighbors are unsure how long the crack has been present, but there is concern about the integrity of the tree in high winds like the current Noreaster storm. No branches have fallen, but there is concern that the tree may not be stable.
